as students have returned to school, I had the honor of visiting the Eastern North Carolina School for the Deaf in Wilson, North Carolina. There, I was welcomed by cheerful students, incredible teachers, and dedicated administrators and staff. I stopped by classrooms and the cafeteria to see students in action and even helped teach a math class. The Hornets remind us that education is ensuring that every child has a chance to live the American Dream. It involves creating the best learning environments possible that meet students where they are. We must keep working to build a brighter future for every child in every classroom across the Nation. I love you. Go Hornets.
