This legislation really was born here in the House and moved forward. The Senate had some very good hearings and then we, of course, went to conference. Now we have come up with a really fair, much fairer, process in dealing with the Internal Revenue Service. I think so many people did not realize that prior to this legislation, any conference they had with their certified public accountant was not at all privileged, and that their accountant could be subpoenaed to testify against them in a court of law. Now we have just about given the same privilege that an attorney has, an attorney-client privilege, to an accountant-client privilege. I think that is tremendously important. The doublet is something we cherish here in America.
