The only inequity that the people from New York will suffer would be, if this amendment passes, when they move down to Florida, then they will see what the inequity is. The mathematics is very clear. I hope my colleagues will listen to the gentleman from Florida. This is just a question of fairness, of basic fairness, and it is a question I think that all of us should ask for ourselves. Are the veterans who live in the Sunbelt entitled to less than those who stayed in the more populated areas that have not grown?
