this is just the right thing to do. Now, people have wondered why in the world Congress did not do it earlier. Well, it simply means that that money was being spent by the Congress to run the Government, so they were taking it away from our seniors, taking their pension away, so they could spend the money on other things. That was wrong. It was wrong then. It is wrong now. That is why we have had this great support and the support from the White House that I am pleased to see that we are getting at this point. The President said he did not want to reform Social Security on a piecemeal basis. But I think when he took a good look at this, he said, this is one that I have got to support. It is a great initiative, and I am so pleased the result we have had here in the House.
