Why did I leave medicine to join this insanity? Well, it is because our country and medicine are a mess.

The oath all physicians take is ‘to do no harm’. Physicians who take part in assisting suicide are breaking that oath.

I fully believe that we should not step down in any of this, because in rural America, we--first of all, everybody doesn't have gas money to get out to see physicians.

The problem is the insurance industry is the strongest lobby in this town.
