I represent one of thirteen districts in North Carolina. And, as all of you certainly know, the Rucho case originated in my State, as well as the Moore v. Harper case.

The ability to cast a ballot free of undue burden and discrimination is the cornerstone of our participatory democracy.

What was struck down was Section 4, which is the formula that decides which States, which counties, which cities are included in Section 5.
