In March 2011, I wrote a letter to Chairman Upton and to the chairman of this subcommittee asking that the subcommittee hold a hearing concerning questions about the level of protection new and used football helmets provide athletes of all ages.
Butterfield requested a hearing on football helmet safety.

Democrats are continuing to fight to get the John Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act passed and the For the People Act passed.
Now the Supreme Court is going to have to decide whether or not State courts have any authority whatsoever over election laws within the State.
