This historic bill will reverse the damage done by the Supreme Court in Shelby County and update the Voting Rights Act.

I would like to offer my unconditional support for the Lumbee Recognition Act, which is S. 1364.

It is absolutely unacceptable that the Department of Justice is not participating in this conversation. Shame on them.

It is almost sacred. And so we can, and we must, do better.
