In my district, thousands of residents are struggling to make ends meet while the Trump administration puts the interests of billionaires above those of ordinary Americans.

I introduced the Capital for Beginning Farmers and Ranchers Act of 2024 (H.R. 8598) with Representative Strickland.

The current sub-minimum wage with tipped employees perpetuates low pay, enables, inexcusable levels of wage theft, and it leads to higher poverty rates.

Any programs that would support financing... would be beneficial.
