The INF Treaty benefits the security of the United States, our allies, and the Russian Federation.

The treaty is a continuation of the international arms control and nonproliferation framework that the United States has worked hard to foster and strengthen for the last 50 years.

Allies have not expressed concerns with the New START treaty. To the contrary, the response from our allies to the conclusion of the New START treaty has been overwhelmingly positive.

We are seeing new and enduring pressures on the nonproliferation regime, pressures that threaten global stability.
