Ryan Keith Zinke is an American politician and businessman who served as the U.S. Representative for Montana's at-large congressional district from 2015 to 2017. A member of the Republican Party, Zinke was appointed as the Secretary of the Interior under President Donald Trump, serving from March 2017 until January 2019. During his tenure, he focused on issues such as energy development, public land management, and conservation efforts. Zinke has also been involved in various initiatives related to veterans and outdoor recreation.
Education, healthcare, and law enforcement issues continue to be nonpartisan subcommittee priorities, particularly those that are on the GAO high-risk list.

The investment in the Interior's infrastructure will be funded by Federal revenues derived from rents, rights-of-ways for energy purposes, and royalties collected by the Department of the Interior.
I can tell you that I agree with you that out West, the further you go out, the less people see our country as supporting them, and they feel like they have been neglected, especially with the rise of China.
