I never, ever remember having smoke for 2 or 3 months out of the year, and I live in eastern Montana.

I know all our hearts go out to the folks in Kentucky and that whole region that got hit by that massive tornado.

I do come from Montana, and we have dealt with Mother Nature, the good, the bad, the ugly.

So it`s a very good bill. It was -- I helped negotiate it over eight months. And it`s good to see it get signed into law. Now we`ll be looking forward to the projects when they hit the ground here in Montana.

It deals with infrastructure like roads and bridges and water systems and electrical transmission and broadband. It`s a big bill, it`s the biggest investment in infrastructure ever in this country. and it`s going to do some great things…

I have been disappointed by comments criticizing where the nominee was born, where she grew up, what her education was, going after her heritage.

This bill rights that wrong.

This bill will offer rural and housebound veterans better access to medical disability examinations.

I would hope that the VA can actually comment on the 21 bills and not just say we can do this without you.

My Veterans Benefits Improvement Act of 2021 will help fix that.

The thought that they are not eligible to be in our veterans cemeteries is really just outrageous.

The IG plays a critical role in Congress's oversight of the VA, and they have requested this tool to help them do their important work.

We need the best and brightest to work our veterans' appeals.

Look, we have got challenges out there, but working together I think we can solve those challenges that we have.

I do not know how you implement Hannon without a strategic plan, and this baby has been out for a while.

It is important that the VA and the DOD and Congress are all on the same page, working together to meet the objectives of our servicemembers and our veterans.

Whether it was Obama or Trump or Biden, whatever these administrations are, we continue to have the same conversation.
