If a member, who is a senior member, of the Judiciary Committee staff tells a Senator like I was told during the briefing on this issue that if the committee had had the information that came to light after the nomination had been reported, the committee would not have reported the nomination, does that not seem to the Senator to be sufficient grounds to request reconsideration of the issue by the committee?
