it has been a great pleasure and honor to serve in this body with Judd Gregg. He and his wife Kathy have enriched our lives with their friendship and their contributions to the work and responsibilities of the U.S. Senate. Judd's leadership on the Budget and Appropriations Committees have been especially important and worthy of high praise. His sense of humor has helped make our service in the Senate an enjoyable experience. I wish for him and his family all the best in the years ahead.
