I would simply say there has been no greater advocate for the LIHEAP program than my friend from New York, and I appreciate his efforts and I appreciate his remarks. His compliments were directed toward the chairman of the subcommittee; but I think also it is fair to say that the ranking member and the chairman have worked closely together, and I appreciate his acknowledgment of the generosity of the bill as it is with regard to LIHEAP. I would reiterate that the bill includes the highest funding level ever provided for the LIHEAP program at $2 billion. So I thank the gentleman for his efforts. I am sure he will persevere in the particular idea which he had for us today.
