Protecting our most vulnerable citizens is among the most fundamental responsibilities entrusted to the Federal Government, and it is also a responsibility that we, as Americans, all share.

I loved campaigning. And I told my wife when I got elected, if I enjoyed campaigning that much--if I enjoyed serving half as much as I enjoyed campaigning, I was going to have a great time.

It is our hope that this can be a resource to survivors across the country and that we can lead the charge in educating the public about this important issue.
