Most of us know what coffee houses and truck stops are like. We all could imagine going into one in Texas or one in Mississippi or Alabama or Arkansas and going up to one of those guys and saying, ``How would you like some public debt?'' I think everybody would say, ``No, thanks, I don't want any.'' But if you asked most of the guys we know if they would like some Treasury securities, there is a pretty doggone good chance that they would say, ``Yeah, I'd like some. That sounds like a good deal.'' It is all part of the scam. I resent it as an American. I hope every American resents this.”
