The point of order is to my colleagues, if you think it is wrong to desecrate the flag, I would hope that you would think it is wrong to misspend money taken out of people's wallets that we promised to spend on their Social Security and to protect that money in the Constitution. The SPEAKER pro tempore. The Chair is prepared to rule on the point of order. As in the case of the previous motion, the Chair must adhere to the principle that, to a joint resolution embodying a single individual proposition, an amendment proposing a different proposition, even of the same class, is not germane. The motion is not in order.
