We are doing everything we can to show that we are not partisan, that this committee is just trying to get to the facts.

I want to note that around 8:00 last evening, Mr. Clark`s attorney sent a letter to the committee, another in a long series of long letters, stating that Mr. Clark now intends to assert his Fifth Amendment privilege.

He is aware that something went on that is illegal.

Mr. Clark, through his attorney, has been deliberately avoiding us.

We`re going to let him assert the Fifth Amendment right not to incriminate himself, if that`s what he wants to do, question by question.

Project number one is skew the economic system in this country as much as possible so that it provides as much as possible to the people at the top.

Robust enforcement is key to deterring this unacceptable behavior.
