Let me sum up and say that this is a choice that we have to make tonight. Are we willing to give half of the tax cut to families who earn $100,000 a year or more, or are we willing to focus this tax cut at the hard-working, hard-pressed, squeezed middle-income people of this country? I know what my vote is for, and I hope your vote will be for the middle-income people of this country. Vote for this motion to recommit.
