I too want to thank Mr. Berry and the other sponsors, thank the committee chairman and ranking member, and hope that everyone will be in support of this very commonsense amendment. There is no excuse for FEMA putting at risk the economic development up and down the Mississippi River or around any other area that is protected by a 100-year or 500-year levee, and that would happen if we do not take this action.
