as I have reviewed this legislation, I have some serious misgivings about it. I am desirous that we continue to have the provision in the bill that is sponsored by the gentleman from Illinois on habeas corpus. I am sorry I have to disagree with the gentleman from North Carolina in regard to that matter, and the gentleman from Michigan, but I believe that that matter should remain in the bill. The bill, other than that, I have some serious misgivings. I surely think that if this bill was reported back and we had to go back to committee, I think the committee could probably do a lot better job than what you have done so far.
