I thank Chairman Hensarling for his commitment to regulatory relief. We wouldn't be here today if it wasn't for his diligence and for the hard work of all of the great folks of the Financial Services Committee, on both sides of the aisle. Mr. Speaker, in the wake of the financial crisis the American people needed regulatory relief that would lift the economy. It doesn't seem to bother them that they are going to spend their own constituents' hard-earned tax dollars and give to a MS-13 gang member up to $450,000. Holy smokes. It blows you away.
I reiterate my support for the bill. I thank Mr. Cleaver for his personal testimony today. It was very compelling. It is a tremendous story of success in the use of these things and how changing our neighborhoods can really be helpful. Mr…
