Blaine Luetkemeyer: “We have a job to do. We have to take that responsibly and do our job responsibly and hold people accountable.”

I am an interesting guy to have on the committee here this morning because I was a sponsor, the Republican sponsor, of the Corporate Transparency Act.

This is unbelievable. I can't get a straight answer. It took me 3 minutes to get an answer on that question.

In response to the outbreak of the Korean War in 1950, my fellow Missourian, President Harry Truman, signed a law intended to ensure that our nation would have sufficient industrial resources to meet our national security needs.

As much as I hate that bill and hate that rule, my intention on that was to make sure we minimize the effect of this bill or this rule because it originally was a horrendous thing.
