Because the Palestinians that were in the area known as Gaza were continually attacking and causing havoc against the Jews that lived in the Gaza area. Jews who had businesses, Jews who had homes, as well as synagogues, relinquished those homes and businesses voluntarily in an effort known as ``land for peace.'' So Israel gave up its land to Palestinians, and the Palestinians promised there would be peace.…”
