[The Every Student Succeeds Act] is clear: Education decision-making now rests with states and districts, and the federal role is to support and inform those decisions.

Former Chairman John Kline, while recognizing that the overtime threshold should be responsibly reformed, called the administration's drastic move extreme and partisan.

Those same voices now claim this overtime rule will provide a pay raise for millions of Americans. It won't.
