I do not know of a single proposal, certainly no serious proposal, that alters in any way, in any way the Social Security program for those my age, or 55 and up. It does not change it a bit. It is the same. You get the same check, the same increases. The program is exactly the same. My 84-year-old mother is going to continue to get her checks in exactly the same way she has been getting them for the last 20 years. The program does not change for her. No proposal affects the benefits of any current senior whatsoever.
