If the goal were safety, this is not how you get there.

When you outnumber local police officers five and six to one, that is the vibe.

This was an agent recklessly using power that resulted in somebody dying.

We collectively are going to do everything possible to get to the bottom of this, to get justice, and to make sure that there is an investigation that is conducted in full.

This is a time to follow the law.

Having seen the video of myself, I want to tell everybody directly: That is bullshit.

The fact that Pam Bondi’s Department of Justice and this presidential administration has already come to a conclusion about those facts is deeply concerning.

What I can tell you is the narrative that this was just done in self-defense is a garbage narrative. That is not true. It has no truth. And it needs to be stated very clearly, since we have already seen a video of it.

We know that they’ve already determined much of the investigation.
