Mr. President, this is a bipartisan amendment. This is about innovation and jobs. The medical device industry is one of our biggest exporters. We have so many opportunities out there with a growing middle class in China and India to export even more, but we cannot have a tax that puts us at a competitive advantage. I think people understand that. This is about manufacturing, high-skilled jobs, millions of jobs in America. I ask my colleagues to vote with Senator Hatch and me to repeal this tax.
