Yes, it is bullying. And they are really dismayed because they are like, 'Well, this is how much I borrowed. Why is it triple the amount?'
Not all of us can afford to go to court, folks. We can't afford to find a lawyer. Do you know how distressing that is?
I feel like there needs to be a better balance in this conversation, in this debate, in this committee.
I was born and raised in Detroit--from more homeowners to renters and so forth, and I think it is a result of a lot of combinations of things that you guys put forward.
