I am really just--and bear with me, Chairman. I really want to show just how connected it is, that we can't allow communities to continue to fail like this.
We must stop weighing whether or not we will act on climate change by how much money it will cost our Government and big corporations.
I really would urge my colleagues, and this is sincere, come visit my district. I have given a number of tours, what I call the 'toxic tour.' Come breathe the air.
The problem is Republican refusal to believe in science and take climate change seriously.
You know, it just doesn't, you know, invoke a lot of confidence when many of us when we hear it is an intern could have done that.
