We all know that cryptocurrency like Bitcoin currently consumes enough energy to power a small nation.

I think moving it from 7 to 4 years can directly, dramatically, help our communities.

Children can't learn if they are hungry. Well, I also believe that children can't learn if they can't breathe.

I have seen it firsthand growing up in southwest Detroit.

It is just wrong.

So, when we talk about structural racism and we talk about this hearing, we have to really talk about the human impacts of what this means.

That is a form of structural racism. If you look at who is impacted, it is low-income communities.

this hearing, you know, for my residents is important, as we really do our due diligence to oversee--have oversight of what our policies are and what the impact is.
