I believe this committee and this Congress has the knowhow to make the tough choices that are still needed to improve our healthcare system.

I happen to believe that the technology advances like electronic health records and registries can create savings but also know that there could be a resistance to implementing such technologies.

We need people who are the best and the brightest in the healthcare sector who understand the economics as well as the clinical realities.
