Hansen Clarke: “Investing in Detroit means investing in the country.”

I am the proud representative of a region in this country that was known, decades ago, as the arsenal of democracy.

Well, thank you, Mr. Chairman. Thanks for the equal treatment. You know we Democrats do not usually get that in the House of Representatives.

My concern, though, is with the security of those first responders.

We need to continue critical investments that fight poverty, improve healthcare, restore our communities.
