We have to stay vigilant against these breaches and ransomware attacks, and effectively addressing these is going to require strong coordination between our offices and work in a bipartisan way.

One important part of that, in my view, is accountability, and I hope to have a conversation about the appropriate roles and responsibilities for the many different cybersecurity positions within the Federal Government.

These attacks have become more and more common, and so it is important that we work to protect ourselves and our networks.
