Generally, I give deference to the majority leader’s power to bring bills to the Senate floor.

I want changes to the bill made through the amendment process or I might vote against it in the end.

If the bill is not further changed, I would be leaning against the bill.

I totally disagree that the parliamentarian should be fired.

It is leading to scientists leaving the United States for opportunities in other countries. It’s causing clinical trials to be halted and promising medical research to be abandoned.

As the senator representing … the oldest state in the nation, this is a particular concern.

I certainly would not support cutting Medicare benefits.
