This is actually a smart policy.

So today, with all of you, I’m proud to launch the first pillar of the National Governors Association’s Campaign for America: Service United.

If there is a local jurisdiction that does not want it, guess what? It will not go there, because local jurisdictions need to have a final say.

So that’s why service matters. That’s why service mattered in the past. That’s why service matters in the present. That’s why service matters in the future.
