Our administration is tackling Maryland family energy bills on every front— from delivering direct relief to Maryland ratepayers to holding utility companies accountable and expanding access to assistance for families who need it.

This is exciting, because up until this moment, I was the only Black governor in America. And I was very clear that that's a title that I did not want to hold onto for very long.

This program will tackle rising electricity demand with cleaner, cheaper, in-state energy generation that will drive down costs for the long-term.
