Wes Moore: “Today, we are doubling down on our commitment by delivering historic funding to pave pathways to work, wages, and…”

We don’t have that authority, but what we do want to do is making sure that we are clear and transparent with our local jurisdictions about what type of elements need to be in place in order to receive state support.

I want to create more opportunities and more pathways to work, wages, and wealth for all Marylanders, but our families come first, and our children come first, not a developers' timeline, and not a corporation's bottom line.

What it’s going to lead to is making sure that we control our democracy, not anybody else.

Our administration will always stand with the people, and the state will not go around a local community’s ‘no.’
