I'm only the third African American ever elected governor in the 250-year history of this country, and, now, in one cycle, we have at least doubled that number. I just think it's incredibly important. It's a historic moment.

For nearly six years, he fought for a country and a cause that did not include him. But he believed that perhaps one day, just maybe, it would include his children, maybe even his children’s children.

Every Marylander deserves to feel safe and comfortable in their own home, but we know that rising energy costs are putting real pressure on families across our state, especially as temperatures drop.
