I think it is the absolute responsibility of the Committee on Banking, Finance and Urban Affairs to hold hearings on the RTC regulation of savings and loans in Arkansas. I also think that comparing this to Watergate is essential; it is important, it is revealing. Watergate revealed a great deal of more information to the American people, and they are the ones who should know, than the independent counsel would have exposed to the American people had there not been hearings on Watergate.
