I believe the amendment is not at all harmful to the objective of putting in place an election system that works for every American and is accurate and accessible and trustworthy. Her suggestion that the money not lapse, that it moves forward, I think is an excellent suggestion. I strongly support her amendment and thank her for her work in this effort.
