“The reason I am opposed to this is not because I am opposed to making regulations more clear, less burdensome, and less undermining of economic development. The reason I am opposed to this amendment is because it is a blanket amendment across the board. That I think is harmful to the administration of government by any administration, Republican or Democrat, no matter how many or how few those regulations may be if they make a determination that regulation is necessary.
