I hope today's hearing will be a reminder to Director Vought that every administration is accountable to Congress, which is the subject of the Constitution's First Article in which it represents the people.

Every day, I hear from constituents who are struggling to afford basic necessities under an administration that prioritizes the President’s billionaire friends over hardworking families.
The Trump Administration should be ashamed of itself for proposing this pay disparity, and I urge the Senate to address it and insist on parity.
