I want to say to my friends, the reason the farm bill lost is because 62 of your people wouldn't support your Chairman Lucas, who pleaded for their support. That's why the farm bill lost. Secondly, it lost because you adopted three amendments that undercut poor people in America. And so your response has been to abandon them altogether so you could get those votes back.
