If the gentleman would call my attention to those statements and the speakers of those, I would be happy to oblige and talk to them. I really do believe, Mr. Speaker, this issue should be handled in the most responsible and respectful way possible, because it is one of the most serious, if not the most serious, issues with which we will deal. And we ought to deal with one another based upon the intellectual arguments, the constitutional premises, and the law, not on personalities or assertions of malintent.
