If that had been Mitch McConnell saying that about an African-American candidate for President of the United States, trust me, this chairman and the DNC would be screaming for its head very much as they were with Trent Lott.

It is a very -- it`s very close quarters. So, people talk in those circles and people here and they overhear.
They placate instead of being the leaders and saying, no, this is not what we do here. We are a party about the rule of law, you know. So, right now, it`s just all a lie. It`s hypocrisy.
It falls squarely on the hands and the heads of the Marjorie Taylor Greenes, the Jim Jordans, the Josh Hawleys, Mitch McConnells, the Kevin McCarthys, the people who are leaders in the party.
They have aligned themselves in such a way that they cannot get away from not only his political problems that he presents for the party, but also his legal troubles.
