I am speaking against this particular amendment and the one previous, Madam Chair, simply because as well intentioned as they may be, it strikes me that the date range being covered by both of these is from January 21, 2021, until the present, which was the day that a new administration took over.
Mfume opposes the amendment for being too partisan and not covering the full pandemic timeline.
