As I understand it, if we didn't do that, that $2.7 trillion would be in the Social Security trust fund to help us take care of the extra stress on the system that will come from the retirement of the baby boomers, this upsurge in people taking retirement, so that one needs to understand if you didn't do the tax cut or if you constrained some of these other programs, you wouldn't then be drawing down the Social Security trust fund and, therefore, it would be in a better position to address the extra stress that will come when the baby boom generation retires. Is that the connection one should be making here?
