Most are hotel, restaurant, and gas station workers who usually can depend on the revenue they collect during the holiday season to carry them until the summer. One-fourth of the adults in that county are out of work. Officials there have declared an economic emergency. I say, is this not yet another example of the kind of harm that is being felt across the country as a consequence of this closure of the Government?”
